Job summary

Whitehaven Coal's Daunia mine in Queensland seeks an experienced excavator operator to join our high-performing team. You’ll operate large-scale excavators (400T+) safely and efficiently, supporting daily production while upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key requirements include 400T+ excavator experience, Standard 11 and ability to obtain Coal Board Medical, a current C-class driver's license, and a strong commitment to teamwork and the Whitehaven STRIVE values.

Qualifications

• Proven 400T+ excavator operating experience.
• Current Standard 11 and ability to obtain/pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical.
• Current unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality outcomes.
• Reliable, proactive and a strong communicator.
• Ability to work effectively within a team while living the Whitehaven STRIVE Values.

Responsibilities
