My Mobile Mechanic in Caloundra is seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Qualified Automotive Technician to join a busy, supportive workshop. You will split your time between our fully equipped workshop and mobile diagnostic and repair jobs, delivering high-quality service with a positive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle Technology or close to completion.
• Previous experience in a light vehicle mechanic role.
• Proven diagnostic ability with strong problem-solving skills and understanding of complex vehicle systems.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
• Own hand and power tools and a willingness to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of light vehicles, such as servicing, brake and suspension repairs, and tyre replacement.
• Diagnose vehicle problems with advanced diagnostics and accurately identify required parts.
• Repair and replace worn and broken parts using standard automotive tools and equipment.
• Conduct safety and performance tests on light vehicles.
• Apply knowledge of all vehicle systems to ensure accurate diagnostics and quality work.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
