Job summary

Milo Plumbing Solutions in South Windsor, NSW, is seeking a dedicated 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprentice to join our team in a full-time role. You will work alongside experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and progressing toward qualification as a licensed tradesperson.

This position offers structured learning with block release training and on-the-job assessment, supported by a reputable local company focused on safety, quality workmanship and career development.

Qualifications

• Current enrolment or status in a 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprenticeship with a registered training organisation.
• Sound knowledge of plumbing principles and Australian building standards and codes.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and plumbing equipment safely and correctly.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers on residential, commercial and maintenance projects across Sydney.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures and water heating.
• Use hand and power tools safely and to industry standards.
• Read and interpret plumbing plans and technical drawings.
• Test and commission plumbing systems to meet codes.
• Maintain records of work and materials used on each job.
• Follow safety practices on all sites and participate in block release training.
• Support senior plumbers with site prep, tool management and tidiness.
• Communicate progress and issues with team and clients.
