Job summary

BEC Electrical in Dandenong South offers an electrical apprenticeship with a clear path from apprentice to Leading Hand. You’ll work on architectural homes and smart installs under the guidance of A-Grades, with company support to progress toward your licence.

Based in Melbourne with sites across the city and Mornington Peninsula, the role includes ongoing training, a Monthly RDO, and real hands-on experience on premium projects while you complete your Cert III in Electrotechnology.

Qualifications

• Currently in 3rd or 4th year of electrical apprenticeship (Cert III in Electrotechnology) with trade school in good standing.
• White Card and valid driver’s licence are required.
• Willingness to learn and be mentored by experienced A-Grades.
• Willingness to travel to sites across Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula.

Job description

You'll work alongside A-Grades and Leading Hand on architectural homes, from rough-in through to fit-off and smart home commissioning. You'll get real responsibility as you show you can handle it, and we'll make sure you're ready for your licence. This role is where we build our next leading hands from within. If you want to run a team one day, we'll train you for it while you finish your apprenticeship and after you're licensed. We're based in Dandenong South, with jobs across Melbourne and down onto the Peninsula.
