Job summary

Styleprint Pty Ltd in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced 3PL and Operations Manager to lead five warehouses, oversee inbound freight, stock control and production or client deliveries, and drive performance across a 10+ person team.

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will optimise inventory accuracy, rostering, training, layout improvements, OH&S compliance and high-volume container handling to support fast-moving retail campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehousing and distribution in a senior or management role.
• Experience managing client-owned inventory to service levels in 3PL/retail distribution.
• Hands-on ERP/WMS experience with stock accuracy focus.

The role

We're looking for an experienced 3PL and Operations Manager for a full-time role leading five of our warehouses. These hold our raw materials, finished goods, client-owned stock and hardware. Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you'll manage a team of 10+ and be responsible for everything that comes in, everything we hold, and everything released to production or to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Managing inbound freight across all five warehouses
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, discrepancy resolution and reporting
• Keeping our pack floor (30 to 80 people) supplied with materials
• Managing high-volume container deliveries and destuffing, receipt and put-away
• Leading, rostering, training and developing the team
• Improving storage, layout and processes
• Maintaining OH&S standards and housekeeping across your areas

About you

• Experience managing client-owned inventory to agreed service levels in 3PL, contract logistics, retail distribution, contract packing or promotional fulfilment (essential)
• 5+ years in warehousing and distribution in a senior or management role
• A track record of leading warehouse teams - training, rostering, setting a standard and lifting performance
• Experience with container receipt and destuffing at volume
• Hands-on experience with MYOB Advanced or a similar ERP/WMS, and a strong focus on stock accuracy
• Order fulfilment experience with high pick accuracy
• Sound OH&S knowledge
