Job summary

Creativity by Geena is seeking a 2nd or 3rd Year Hairdressing Apprentice to join our Brighton-Le-Sands, NSW salon. This full-time role offers hands-on training in cutting, colouring, styling and client care within a professional salon environment.

You will learn from experienced stylists, support daily operations, and contribute to delivering exceptional service to our clients as you progress toward becoming a qualified hairdresser.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or actively pursuing a hairdressing apprenticeship in your 2nd or 3rd year.
• Strong passion for hairdressing and beauty industry.
• Great communication and client-interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior stylists with cuts, colours, treatments and styling.
• Shampoo and condition clients according to salon protocols.

Creativity by Geena is seeking a 2nd or 3rd Year Hairdressing Apprentice to join our award-winning, dynamic team in Brighton-Le-Sands, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hairdressing skills in a professional salon environment. As you progress through your apprenticeship, you will work alongside experienced stylists, gaining hands‑on experience in cutting, colouring, styling and client care. This role is fundamental to your journey towards becoming a qualified hairdresser, and you will play an active part in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting senior stylists with a range of hairdressing services including cuts, colours, treatments and styling
• Shampooing, conditioning and treating clients’ hair according to salon protocols
• Preparing workstations and ensuring all tools and equipment are clean, sterilised and ready for use
• Maintaining high standards of salon cleanliness and hygiene at all times
• Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients
• Developing consultation skills to understand client needs and preferences
• Practising and refining hairdressing techniques under the guidance of experienced mentors
