Job summary

MCV Electrical on the Gold Coast is seeking 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices to join our family-run team. You’ll work on residential and commercial installations, learn from experienced electricians and contribute to projects across solar and air-conditioning systems.

Qualifications

• Looking for 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices currently completing their Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Positives attitude, reliability, punctuality and willingness to learn are essential.
• Ability to work with a supportive team on residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations across residential new builds and renovations.
• Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Support air-conditioning installations, solar panels and battery storage tasks.
• Collaborate with experienced electricians and apprentices to maintain workmanship standards.

A typical day with MCV Electrical

Depending on your experience and level of qualification, you’ll be involved in a variety of electrical work including:

• Electrical installations across residential new builds and renovations, from disconnects and lead-ins through to fit-off

• Fault finding and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve electrical issues

• Air-conditioning installations, solar panels and battery storage solutions

• Working alongside experienced electricians and apprentices as part of a supportive team

• Communicating professionally with clients and maintaining a high standard of workmanship

• Learning new skills and gaining experience across a broad range of electrical work

For 2nd & 3rd Year Apprentices

We’re looking for 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices who:

• Are currently completing their Certificate III in Electrotechnology

• Have a positive attitude and genuine interest in the electrical trade

• Are reliable, punctual and keen to learn

• Take pride in their work and presentation

• Are willing to learn across a range of residential and commercial projects

• Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team

• Have a current driver’s licence or are working towards obtaining one

• Are looking for a supportive team where they can continue developing their skills and experience
