Job summary

My Gateway has multiple opportunities for 2nd to 4th year Electrical Apprentices in St Marys, NSW. You will gain hands-on experience on a major cabling project while you learn on the job.

As an apprentice, you will run conduit, install and pull cables, install lighting and switchboards, and support tradespeople. The role includes paid leave and mentoring, with weekly pay and access to counselling services.

Responsibilities

• Running conduit
• Installing and pulling cables
• Completing cable trays
• Installing lighting, exit and emergency lighting/signs
• Installing switches and switchboards and building switchboards
• Completing metering alterations
• Installing standby power/generators
• Installing temporary power, rough ins, fit outs
• Installing uninterruptable power supplies
• Lighting control systems, terminating power, isolating power, maintenance and servicing
• As an apprentice there will be some labouring, clean up, assisting tradespeople, collecting on site deliveries, deliveries and general ad hoc tasks relating to the site and the work being carried out.

My Gateway have multiple opportunities for 2nd through to 4th Year apprentices at a project in St Marys.

Our client is a leading installer of electrical and data communications cabling, products and systems. They have delivered hundreds of projects for clients in the commercial buildings and fit outs, hotels, retail, high-rise, residential, maintenance services, infrastructure, transport, defence, industrial, education, health and data centre sectors.

Some of Your Duties Will Include:
