Job summary

Casella Family Brands is seeking Vintage Vineyard Sampling Officers to support the harvest and grape receival for the 2027 vintage in Yenda, NSW. You’ll travel to local vineyards to collect maturity samples and perform basic testing, reporting findings to the Grower Services team.

The role suits reliable, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy independent outdoor work in warm conditions and can commit to January–April 2027.

Qualifications

• Full Australian driver’s licence with a safe driving record.
• Able to work alone and outdoors in summer heat.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Good handwriting and numeric skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transport.
• Available for the full vintage period (January to April 2027).
• At least 18 years old by 31 January 2027.

Job description

Looking for a fast-paced seasonal role working outdoors in a key role during the harvest season.
Join our 2027 vintage team in Yenda and play a vital role in supporting the harvest and receival of wine grapes into the winery.

We’re seeking reliable and detail-oriented Vintage Vineyard Sampling Officers to travel to local vineyards to conduct grape sampling and testing, as well as pest and disease monitoring. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working independently and outdoors in warm conditions.

As a Vintage Vineyard Sampling Officer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving to local vineyards to collect grape maturity samples
• Conducting basic grape testing and recording results
• Monitoring for signs of pest and disease
• Communicating findings with the Grower Services team
• Working to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

What you’ll need:
