Job summary

Casella Family Brands in NSW is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the 2027 vintage season in Yenda as a Vintage Cellar Hand - Forklift. This hands-on role covers grape intake, wine transfers, and general cellar duties.

No prior experience needed beyond a valid forklift licence and a strong work ethic. The position runs January to April 2027, with shifts and weekend work required, and offers a supportive, team‑oriented winery environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts during grape intake.

Looking for a hands-on adventure in the Australian wine industry?
Join our vibrant vintage team in Yenda for the 2027 grape harvest! Each year, we welcome enthusiastic people from across Australia and around the world to be part of this exciting seasonal experience. Experienced forklift drivers are essential during vintage.

As aVintage Cellar Hand - Forklift, you’ll be involved in a wide range of cellar operations including:

• Operating forklifts during grape intake,
• Wine transfers
• Equipment operation and cleaning
• General cellar duties.

No experience? No worries! We value a great attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic. If you’ve worked in hospitality, farming, or other hands-on roles, that’s a bonus!

What you’ll need:

• Valid Forklift licence and forklift experience
• Physically fit and ready to roll up your sleeves
• Able to work shifts and weekends
• Your own reliable transport
• Available for the full vintage period (January to April 2027)
• At least 18 years old by 31 January 2027

Nice to have:

• Experience working in confined spaces
• Previous winery experience
