Job summary

Bechtel invites Australian citizens to join its internship program in Perth, WA, to gain hands-on experience across multidisciplinary teams. You will work under supervision on real projects, develop practical skills, and participate in training sessions designed to prepare you for a career in infrastructure and energy.

You will be part of a dedicated team, contributing to weekly and monthly activities, while learning about Bechtel's systems, processes and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in a relevant degree.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

• Support with day-to-day internship tasks across multiple projects.

Job Summary

Bechtel’s internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern.

During this time, you’ll see how our business works and take on tasks that will give you valuable experience – all while having a real impact on our organization.

Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload and ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Major Responsibilities

• Students will be learning various systems and procedures which are used by these verticals.
• Collaborative Trainees would be provided training and expected to assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports/activities including developing and utilizing databases, and various other reports.
• Shadowing and learning from experienced professionals in the field.
• Assisting with day-to-day tasks and projects.
• Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
• Conducting research and analysis as required.
• Contributing innovative ideas and solutions to ongoing projects.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Applicants must have completed at least one year of under-graduate studies in a relevant degree
