Job summary

TeamKids is hiring casual Educators in Kilmore for our Rosebud and Dromana schools, offering flexible shifts and extra pay. Join a supportive team and help children enjoy before and after school care and school holidays.

You'll work with children aged 5–12, engage them in activities, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment while following our program plans and safety guidelines. We provide on-the-job coaching, access to National Child Safety Training, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Prior experience in before/after school care or education preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates passion for children and ability to engage them in activities.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication with children, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist during before and after school care sessions and holiday programs.
• Support educators in activities and excursions for children aged 5–12.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment and follow team protocols.

Who is TeamKids?

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

The Role - Casual Educator This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Kilmore

Shifts available between:

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential -we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
