Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026. This paid, in-person, 12-week internship is based in our Sydney office.

You’ll support software solutions deployed to customers and key stakeholders, write code to improve products, and collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and be able to obtain an Australian security clearance.

We are seeking Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026! This is a paid, in-person, 12-week internship.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the software solutions that are deployed to customers and key stakeholders.

• Write code to improve products and scale the mission capability to more customers.

• Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.

• Create and analyze metrics that are leveraged for debugging and monitoring.

• Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-steps.

• Work on real, meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals along the way.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.

• Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance

• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in our Sydney office in summer 2027.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.

• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as C++, Go, Rust, Java, and Python.

• A desire to work on software and applications that have real-world impact.

• Have a bias for action. If you see a problem, you want to solve and fix it.

• Be naturally curious about the technologies and tools you use.

• Low-ego, high ownership, and mission oriented.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
