Job summary

Greyhound Australia is seeking experienced and enthusiastic drivers to join the team as a Full Time 2UP driver, working in a professional two-up driving pair. You will maintain effective communication with your driving partner to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable service delivery across routes.

To be successful you must have demonstrable coach driving experience, a current Drivers Authority / Endorsement, and a strong safety focus with fitness for duty.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused with a commitment to road safety and passenger wellbeing.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service on transport services.
• Ability to work effectively in a two-person driving team and coordinate with a partner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passenger safety by following safe driving practices and road rules.
• Comply with operational processes including pre-starts, ticketing, incident reporting, and passenger manifest procedures.
• Carry out administrative duties such as log books and journey records; manage fatigue and stay fit for duty.
• Assist with handling of luggage and freight with proper manual handling techniques.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience on every service and follow the Coach Captain role expectations.
• Perform other duties as listed in the position description as required.
