Job summary

JNB in Melbourne's western suburbs is seeking a 1st year apprentice carpenter to join the team. The role covers lock up and fix, external cladding and fit-offs. You should be prepared for physically demanding work and eager to learn.

Preferred but not essential are a white card, own tools, driver licence and own car. Applicants must have Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Able to undertake physically demanding work.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Keen to learn carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Committed and enthusiastic about carpentry.
• Able to travel to/from work independently.
• Eligible for apprenticeship (Australian citizen, PR or working rights).

Job description

We specialise in aspects of carpentry from , lock up and fix to external cladding and fitoffs

Located in western suburbs

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Be reliable and punctual
• Very keen to learn
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
• Ability to get to and from work independently

• A white card
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship
• Own tools
