Job summary

Westpoint Autos in Bowen is offering 1st Year Automotive Mechanical Apprenticeships at our Service Centre. We seek motivated individuals committed to completing a 4-year program with theory and on-the-job training, starting as soon as possible.

Ideal candidates will have a manual provisional driver's licence, strong mechanical aptitude, clear communication skills, and the ability to work in a team or independently.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive mechanics.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required.
• Willingness to commit to a 4-year apprenticeship with on-the-job and theoretical training.
• Manual Provisional Driver's Licence is essential.

As a rapidly expanding dealer group our growth allows us to promote from within and expand our workforce, therefore we are able to offer Automotive Mechanical Apprenticeships to suitable applicants commencing as soon as possible.

To be considered for these in demand Apprenticeship positions, we require the following attributes as a minimum:

Commitment to a 4 Year Apprenticeship, including theory and on-the-job training

A Manual Provisional Drivers Licence is essential

Strong mechanical aptitude and clear communication skills - written and verbal

Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required

Initiative, drive and enthusiasm

Availability and willingness to work overtime either daily, weekly and Saturday mornings
