Job summary

This is a great opportunity for an apprentice looking to build a long-term career in the joinery and window manufacturing industry. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain practical, hands-on experience across a range of joinery and window manufacturing processes.

Duties will involve:

• Assisting experienced joiners and tradespeople with the manufacture and assembly of windows and doors.
• Learning to read and interpret plans, drawings and measurements.
• Using a range of hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing timber and other materials.
• Assisting with installation and preparation of joinery products where required.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Following workplace procedures and safety requirements.
• Developing your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.
• Working as part of a team to achieve quality outcomes and meet production requirements.

The successful candidate will:

• Be keen to learn, develop new skills and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
• Have a good attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
