• Must have completed a pre-apprenticeship course or be actively progressing towards one.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication between foreman and mentor/coach on current works.
• Sign and date quality assurance tickets upon completion of work and attach to job.
• Clean and label fixtures and components upon completion of work.
• Return signed and dated tickets to Factory Foreman upon completion of work.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out safely in accordance with OH&S regulations.
• Gain experience through scheduled hours in machine shop (1st and 2nd years).
• Gain experience through scheduled hours in set out and project departments (3rd and 4th years).
• Attend fortnightly feedback sessions with Foreman and Production Manager.
• Attend scheduled trade school sessions.
• Complete time sheets and forward to factory foreman weekly.
• Other duties as required by mentor/coach/leading hand/foreman.
• Responsible for ensuring joinery items are 100% complete prior to QC.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

Complete time sheets, accurately recording time allocated to specific jobs. Forward completed time sheets to factory foreman on a weekly basis at the nominated time

Other duties, as required by the mentor/coach/leading hand/foreman

Responsible for ensuring all joinery items are 100% complete prior to QC

Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times including surrounding factory areas
