Job summary

Outright Roofing Pty Ltd in Newcastle is seeking a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Roof Plumber to join the team immediately. This is a full-time position with hours 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, working alongside experienced tradesmen.

You will learn all aspects of roof plumbing, including roofing, gutters, and rainwater systems, while attending TAFE and progressing through your apprenticeship. The role offers mentoring and a clear path to long-term career in roofing.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to undertake a roofing apprenticeship through a TAFE program.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Physically fit with a hands-on, safety-conscious approach.
• Great attitude, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous construction experience is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified tradesmen with installation of residential and commercial metal roofing.
• Learn all aspects of roof plumbing, including roofing, wall cladding, gutters, fascia and rainwater systems.
• Safely use hand and power tools on site.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Attend TAFE and complete all apprenticeship requirements.
• Maintain a professional attitude on site and represent the company positively.

Outright Roofing Pty Ltd is a locally owned and growing roofing company based in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie. We specialise in residential and commercial metal roofing and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining a strong safety culture, and supporting our team to develop long-term careers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Roof Plumber to join our team immediately.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 3:30pm

You will work alongside experienced and qualified roof plumbers, learning all aspects of the trade while completing your apprenticeship.
