LiveHire Limited is seeking a switched-on 1st Year Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprentice in Bairnsdale. You’ll be employed through the GTO model, getting hands-on in a clean workshop and some on-site work while you complete your apprenticeship with support from qualified tradespeople.

You’ll service and diagnose a varied fleet—from utes to heavy trucks—while learning to use workshop tools safely and effectively, with real on-the-job experience and training.

Qualifications

• Curious about trucks, engines, machinery or how things work
• Reliable, turn up on time and keen to have a go
• Positive attitude and enjoy working with a team
• Notice the small stuff and take safety seriously
• Happy to work in the workshop and head out on-site
• Current driver licence—or working towards one—would be a bonus

AGA is on the lookout for a switched‑on 1st Year Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprentice to join a host employer in Bairnsdale. You’ll be employed by AGA through the Group Training Organisation (GTO) model, giving you support throughout your apprenticeship while you learn from qualified tradespeople and build real skills on the job. Most days will be spent getting hands‑on in a clean, safety‑focused workshop, with some on‑site work to mix things up.
