Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Completions Coordinator for a major Port Hedland project in Western Australia. The role is site-based with FIFO from Perth, supporting completions through to final handover on a long-term project through 2028.

You will coordinate completions activities, develop procedures and manage system boundaries within the CCMS, ensuring asset tagging and documentation align with client requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Completions Coordinator, Completions Engineer, Turnover Coordinator, Commissioning Coordinator or similar role on major construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of completions, turnover, commissioning and handover processes within mining, resources, energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing systems and subsystems, turnover boundaries and project completions deliverables within a CCMS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating ITRs, FICs, vendor documentation, quality records and Construction Verification Certificate (CVC) packs.
  • Experience facilitating walkdowns, punch list management, Mechanical Completion and Ready for Commissioning activities.
  • Ability to engage effectively with Construction, Engineering, Quality, Commissioning and Client stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Experience with industry-standard Completions Management Systems and turnover processes.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, quality compliance and successful project handover outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project completions activities in accordance with approved completions procedures, project execution plans and client handover requirements.
  • Develop and implement completions procedures, management plans and project turnover strategies as required.
  • Develop and maintain system and subsystem boundaries within the CCMS to support phased turnover and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure asset tag allocation aligns with approved system and subsystem boundaries and client requirements.
  • Review and validate engineering tag registers to ensure all asset tags are correctly assigned to the applicable systems and subsystems for turnover purposes.
  • Coordinate and manage the allocation of Inspection and Test Records (ITRs), Factory Inspection Certificates (FICs), vendor data and quality records against relevant asset tags within the CCMS.
  • Monitor construction progress against Mechanical Completion (MC), Ready for Commissioning (RFC), Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) and final handover milestones.
  • Lead daily and weekly completions meetings with Construction, Engineering and Commissioning teams to review system readiness, outstanding documentation, punch list items and turnover requirements.
  • Coordinate system walkdowns, punch list generation and deficiency closeout activities to support project milestones.
  • Facilitate Mechanical Completion, Ready for Commissioning, Ready for Start-Up and Final Handover processes.
  • Develop, compile and submit Construction Verification Certificate (CVC) packs for review, approval and client handover.
  • Liaise with Construction, Engineering, Quality, Commissioning and Client representatives to remove completion barriers and achieve project turnover objectives.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Completions Coordinator to join our team on a major project in Port Hedland, Western Australia. Operating on a FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth, this site-based role will be responsible for coordinating project completions, turnover and handover activities, ensuring systems and subsystems are progressed through Mechanical Completion, Commissioning and Final Handover in accordance with project and client requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-term Monadelphous project, with immediate commencement and project works scheduled through to 2028.
