Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Administration Officer for an upcoming temporary role with Queensland Government, working three days/week (Monday to Wednesday) until approx 9/1/2026 (possibility of extension).

Located at Wacol, this role will provide administrative support to the team, including:

  • Answering telephones and providing customer service
  • Distributing mail and overseeing generic inboxes
  • Printing, photocopying, and collating materials
  • Assisting with logistics for meetings and teleconferences
  • Assisting with booking flights and accommodation for travelling officers
  • Taking meeting notes and recording action items
  • Ordering supplies and organising equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Data entry
  • Electronic recordkeeping
  • General clerical duties

Compensation

The casual hourly rate is $38.90 and we are seeking availability to work three days/week (Monday to Wednesday) from 8am – 4pm.
