Job summary

The Pharmaceutical Locum Company – Southern Downs QLD is seeking a full-time Pharmacist in Charge for a busy community pharmacy located beside a medical centre. You will dispense and check prescriptions, counsel on medications, and lead a patient-centered service in a friendly team.

Join a supportive environment with a stable roster on a Monday to Sunday schedule. Accommodation support is available: 12 months of free accommodation or an accommodation allowance of $260 per week for up to 2 years

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
• Patient-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills.
• 3+ years' experience in community pharmacy preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a busy workload in a team environment.

The Pharmaceutical Locum Company – Southern Downs QLD

We are a dynamic community pharmacy seeking a full-time pharmacist in charge to join our vibrant team. You will work in a supportive environment next to a medical centre and handle an average of 350 scripts a day. There is another Pharmacist, 1 to 2 Dispense Techs, and an Assistant Retail Manager with Pharmacy Assistants. The role is quite independent and manages the customer experience and culture in this Pharmacy. We are looking for a patient-centric Pharmacist who likes to consult and can manage the busy workload. It is a rewarding role, with lots of regular customers. We are looking for a natural leader with ideally 3 + years' experience. You will be required to dispense and check prescriptions, counsel on medications and OTC products, and achieve dispensary KPIs such as clinical interventions, medschecks, and other 7CPAs, vaccination checks, Webster packs, and much more.

The Offer

You will be required to commit to full-time hours on a Monday to Sunday roster. Attractive rate: Weekdays $60/hr - $65/hr and Sat $70/hr, Sun $80/hr + Super. The hours are 8 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, with one Sat shift and one Sunday shift a month (weekend shifts are ½ days).

Accommodation support offered is either -

• 12 months' free accommodation in a furnished 3-bedroom townhouse or
• Accommodation allowance of $260 per week for 2 years on offer depending on experience.
