Job summary

The Co-Group Limited is hiring a mature Disability Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support for an 18-year-old man living in Palmview on a casual basis. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, mealtime management and community access, including safe wheelchair transfers and daily routines.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting participants with high medical needs.
• Ability to support non-verbal clients and communicate effectively.
• Understanding of safety in community access for clients and staff.
• Reliable, patient and committed to consistent 1:1 support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to an 18-year-old living in Palmview.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, mealtime management and community access.
• Assist with stand transfers and safe wheelchair use.
• Support daily routines and social engagement.
• Follow mealtime management plans and choking risk procedures.
