Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a FIFO blaster/painter to join the Maintenance team on the Tanami project. The role covers site asset integrity work, tank lining repairs, and blasting/painting during plant shutdowns.

A 2:1 FIFO roster applies from Brisbane, Darwin, Perth and Alice Springs with accommodation provided in Tanami. Essential qualifications include a valid Australian driver’s licence, Working at Heights, Enter and Work in Confined Space, and the ability to pass a National Police Check.

• Experience maintaining & servicing airless pumps and plurals
• Experience maintaining & servicing sand blasting equipment

Job description

Monadelphous have held a long term maintenance contract with Newmont Tanami Gold Mine since 2018 and have another 4 years on their current Maintenance contract till 2030. We are looking for FIFO blaster/painters to join our Maintenance team.

Scope of work

• Could range from Site Asset Integrity works. Tank internal lining repairs and yard blasting/painting works.

Experience Required

• Spraying Polybrid using plural pump experience preferredbut not necessary
• Epoxy coating application required
• Preferable experience maintaining & servicing airless pumps and plurals
• Preferable experience maintaining & servicing sand blasting equipment
