EDITEL Austria GmbH in Vienna is looking for a Windows System Administrator to manage our Microsoft IT Infrastructure, including servers, Active Directory, EntraID, and Office 365. You will support operations, monitoring and maintenance of servers and clients, ensure security compliance and collaborate with external IT service partners.

The role involves virtualization management (VMware/Proxmox), backups with Veeam, change management, and driving automation projects in ISO27001 aligned

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Windows Server 2019-2022 and TCP/IP networking.
• Good command of English; German a plus.
• Experience coordinating external IT service partners.

Your responsibilities

• Managing our Microsoft IT Infrastructure
• Operations, Monitoring and Maintenance of Servers and Clients
• MS Active Directory, File & Printserver, Radius/NPS, MSSQL Server, EntraID, Office365,
• Operation of our ITSM system and further development of our automations and scripts (Deskcenter)
• Managing our network infrastructure
• TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, 802.1x,
• IPSec VPN, SSL VPN
• Firewall management (Fortimanager & Fortigate)
• Administration of HP/3Com network switches
• Managing our Hypervisor Environment
• Operation of VM-Ware, Proxmox environment
• Maintenance of Hardware components
• Veeam Backup and Replication
• Change management, Support, Troubleshooting, Monitoring, Analysis and Incident handling within our Infrastructure and Cloud services following our ISO27001 practices.
• Planning and implementation of technical Projects improving IT infrastructure and security

Your background

• University degree/degree from a University of Applied Sciences or graduate from a higher technical education institute or several years of professional experience
• In Depth experience working with Windows Server 2019-2022 and TCP/IP networking as well as security technologies
• Good proficiency in English language (German proficiency is a plus)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Expertise in cooperation and coordination of external IT Service partners
• Willingness to engage in further education and to work in a team
• Good Communication skills and customer orientation
• Structured and solution oriented way of working
