Jobtailor in Vienna is seeking a skilled IT Administrator to be the first contact for internal IT matters, supporting applications and infrastructure, and maintaining Windows Server/AD/M365 security standards.

You will manage hardware, licenses, and procurement, participate in IT projects, and ensure robust security while coordinating with the data center and internal teams. Fluent German and strong English are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT education (technical college / university of applied sciences / university) or extensive experience as an IT generalist in a Windows environment.
• Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of IT security standards and best practices in a Windows environment.
• Experience providing IT support to internal users and serving as the first point of contact for IT issues.
• Fluent German.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Enjoyment of independently managing infrastructure projects.
• Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL Server/Oracle) — nice to have.
• Knowledge of cloud services (Microsoft Azure, O365) and Linux — nice to have.
• Initial experience managing projects — nice to have.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) — nice to have.
• Experience with endpoint management / device management — nice to have.
• Knowledge of SSO (OpenID, SAML), 2FA, firewalls (IDS), antispam, SPF, DKIM, and VLANs — it would be great if you have already heard of these terms.
