Job summary

Vestas is seeking qualified candidates in Parndorf for the role of wind turbine technician responsible for maintenance and repair work. You will ensure the reliable operation of wind turbines by performing on-site maintenance and troubleshooting faults.

The ideal candidate should have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics and possess excellent skills in both German (B2) and English. The position offers a permanent employment contract with competitive remuneration and various benefits.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working at heights and able to work safely above the clouds.
• Class B driver’s license (subsidy for Class BE possible).
• Work location will vary within the region; you will usually be home again in the evening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of wind turbines through on‑site maintenance and repair work.
• Repair turbines and rectify faults in teams of at least two people.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause.
• Carry out conversion measures to increase turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a clear and efficient manner.

Skills

Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics

Knowledge of Microsoft and iOS operating systems

Experience with SAP

Very good German (B2)

Good English skills

Education
