About the Role

We are searching for a motivated individual who can lead a small team to ensure seamless coordination of our warehouse and production facility in Wacol.

In the role of Warehouse/Dispatch Manager-Extrusion you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a small team in operational effectiveness including the highest safety standards
  • Adhering to best practice manufacturing standards
  • Updating and maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies and updating the inventory management system
  • Managing deadlines based on project expectations
  • Ensuring the warehouse is organised and clean, following safe work practices and security measures
  • Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to optimise warehouse efficiency and productivity
  • Following and lead through company policies and procedures
About you

We believe you will be successful in this role through drawing on your 3 - 5 years plus experience in a similar role. You will also have:

  • A strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures and be able practically apply them daily and assist your team to do the same
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to build relationships with all roles and teams with the organisation
  • An ability to coach, lead by the company values and build a strong successful team
  • A hands on approach including a valid forklift licence and forklift experience of 2 year plus
  • A high level of organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your tasks and time effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • A flare for business process and systems improvement
