In the role of Vice President Sales, you are responsible for acquiring new customers and shaping strategic sales initiatives that drive business growth. You take full ownership of assigned accounts, lead the sales approach in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure a seamless end-to-end process from initial outreach to commercial agreement.

Your Job’s Key Responsibilities Are

  • End-to-end responsibility for assigned new-logo accounts and definition of strategic direction in close alignment with the CRO
  • Accountable for the entire sales process – from initial contact to final legal and contractual closure
  • Building sustainable relationships with (new) customers and relevant stakeholders to drive long-term business development
  • Crafting and evolving a compelling sales storyline while ensuring alignment within the POD- team (partner management, marketing, sales, and process support) and with SAP stakeholders
  • Steering the customer-specific sales approach and related activities with clearly documented progress and milestones
  • Coordinating the creation of proposals, presentations, and contracts – particularly for decision-makers at the management level
  • Collaborating with SAP Industry AEs and specialized sales units to fully leverage the SAP ecosystem
  • Ensuring smooth and seamless customer interactions through close coordination with the pod team and internal interfaces
  • Representing NETCONOMY at key trade fairs and industry events to strengthen market positioning and grow the professional network

Your Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on B2B sales experience, ideally with a focus on selling complex IT services related to digital transformation
  • Solid industry understanding of consumer and B2B-focused industries is an advantage
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record in acquiring new customers and closing complex deals
  • Technical understanding of key aspects related to digital transformation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills across all organizational levels
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and set clear priorities
  • Strong target orientation and a pronounced sales mindset
  • Professional presence, persuasiveness, and outstanding communication strength
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Strong intercultural competences and a willingness to travel (approx. 30% of your working time)
  • Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2/C1)

The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. What is also important to us is to pay our employees an internally comparable salary. For legal reasons, we need to disclose the minimum annual salary for full time employment as stated in the current collective IT agreement, which is € 62,790 gross/year for this position.
