Job summary

The University of Vienna is inviting applications for a University assistant predoctoral in the 45 Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies. The role involves research, teaching and administration while you work towards completing your dissertation.

You will publish in journals, present at conferences and assist in organizing academic events, with a dissertation plan to be finalized within 6–12 months. We seek candidates who hold a Master’s or equivalent in Romance Studies, Linguistics, or

Qualifications

• Completed Master’s, Diploma, or teacher education degree in Romance Studies, General Linguistics, or Phonetics, with a focus on French linguistics.
• Doctoral research project within the thematic and methodological focus areas of the research group.
• Excellent command of French.
• Innovative ideas, the ability to work independently, a willingness to learn and try new things, and the courage to develop and implement new ideas.

Responsibilities
