First stage researcher (R1) in Engineering Research within the Institute of Mechanics, Graz University of Technology, Austria.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching courses: Engineering Mechanics I and II, Multibody Dynamics, Structural Dynamics.
  • Conduct research on the nonlinear dynamics of structural vibrations.
  • Administration of teaching and research activities.
Qualifications
  • Master in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • In‑depth knowledge of structural dynamics, multibody dynamics, nonlinear vibrations, numerical and analytical modelling, and experimental investigations of vibrating structures.
  • Ability to work in a team and programming experience.
  • Very good knowledge of German and teaching experience for the supervised courses.

We offer an annual salary of at least €52,007.20 for a full‑time position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
