VectaCore is seeking a UAS Pilot to join our flight operations, driving hands-on testing, training, and demonstrations for international customers. What You Can Expect

As a UAS Pilot, you will be at the heart of our flight operations, bringing our systems to life in the field. From experimental flight testing to customer training and international demonstrations, you will play a key role in shaping the future of unmanned aviation. After completing an internal training program, you will become qualified to operate our UAS across a wide range of missions.

• Conduct flight tests and ground runs in line with design verification requirements, working closely with our engineering teams to safely expand the flight envelope of our systems.
• Deliver theoretical and practical flight training to customers in accordance with our Flight Training Program.
• Perform all required pre-flight and post-flight procedures, document findings, and prepare test reports.
• Plan and coordinate flight missions, including weather and NOTAM assessments, flight area evaluations, UAS configuration check, and operational documentation
• Review and continuously improve the Aircraft Flight Manual from an operator's perspective, providing valuable feedback on procedures, limitations, and emergency operations.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Your profile

• Initial professional experience in a technical environment is preferred. We also welcome recent graduates who are eager to start their careers in the exciting field of unmanned aviation. RC flying experience is a plus.
• Technical education (HTL or equivalent) in aviation technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field. A university degree in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline is an advantage, but not required.

Collective agreement

For this position, we offer a gross annual salary starting at €55,356.00 on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications and experience, we are certainly open to paying above this rate.
