ABB is seeking a Treasury Middle Office professional to own global Treasury processes, oversee TMS operations, and strengthen governance and controls. You will collaborate across Treasury, Accounting, Technology, and Internal Control to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

The role focuses on system configurations, data integrity, and cross-functional process improvements to support initiatives and system upgrades within a multinational corporate treasury

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Significant experience in Treasury, Finance, or related functions within a multinational corporation or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of Treasury operations, transaction lifecycles, Treasury Management Systems, controls, reconciliations and market data.

• Serve as the principal Middle Office SME for TMS operations, system functionality, process improvement, and business requirements.
• Provide senior functional oversight of system configurations and reference data, including financial instruments, portfolios, market data, limits, and valuation settings.
• Govern system and data changes through controlled, documented, and auditable processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex operational, system, data, and accounting-related issues.

Join our Corporate Treasury team and play a key role in ensuring effective operations, governance, and continuous improvement of Treasury Middle Office activities. In this role, you will oversee critical Treasury processes, support Treasury Management System (TMS) operations, and help maintain a robust control environment across Treasury systems, data, and regulatory reporting.

You will collaborate with Treasury, Accounting, Technology, Internal Control, and external partners to promote operational excellence, enhance controls, improve data quality, and support key Treasury initiatives and system upgrades.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of key global Treasury Middle Office processes, ensuring robust governance, controls, documentation, and operational effectiveness.
• Serve as the principal Middle Office subject-matter expert for Treasury Management System (TMS) operations, system functionality, process improvement, and business requirements.
• Provide senior functional oversight of system configurations and reference data, including financial instruments, portfolios, market data, limits, and valuation settings.
• Govern system and data changes through controlled, documented, and auditable processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex operational, system, data, and accounting-related issues across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Own and enhance Treasury controls, including reconciliations, data quality monitoring, exception management, and limit oversight.
• Own the Global Market Data process, ensuring data completeness and accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the global regulatory reporting and exemption management activities, including EMIR, UK EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and other applicable requirements.
• Manage the global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) lifecycle and related master data processes.
• Support Treasury projects, system implementations, testing activities, and process transformation initiatives with in-depth operational experience.

Your Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Significant experience in Treasury, Finance, or related functions within a multinational corporation or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of Treasury operations, transaction lifecycles, Treasury Management Systems, controls, reconciliations and market data.
• Knowledge of global regulatory reporting requirements, including EMIR, UK EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and related frameworks.
• Experience managing controls, data quality processes, operational risk issues, and exception handling.
• Experience supporting system implementations, testing, change management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong focus on operational excellence, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage recurring activities, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deliverables.
• High integrity, strong accountability, and well-developed professional judgment.
