ENPULSION is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will plan, execute, and analyze tests for electric space propulsion systems, developing test setups and documentation while supporting product qualification and quality standards.

The role requires HTL or equivalent technical education, a willingness to work across electrical, mechanical, and software domains, and strong English language skills.

Job Overview

ENPULSION is looking for a Test Engineer (f/m/x) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing functional and environmental tests for our electric space propulsion systems and components. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will develop test setups and documentation, support product qualification, and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and qualification assembling and testing of electric space propulsion systems and components.
• Establishing test documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Plan and conduct functional and environmental tests (in accordance with product managers).
• Defining and realizing test set‑ups and maintenance of necessary (E)GSE for testing and qualification including vacuum systems.
• Analysis of test results.
• Collaboration with Product Assurance and Quality Assurance.

Type of contract: Full time position with 38.5 hours/week

Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 2707.40 gross per month on a full‑time basis (38.5 h/week), with a planned significant overpayment of 3000-3600 EUR depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

Your profile

• Completed HTL education or a similar technical education. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Initial professional experience (0–2 years) in a technical environment is an advantage, but not required.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software systems, with the ability and willingness to work across different technical areas.
• Thinking out of the box and contributing to continuous improvements and anticipating potential issues.
• An in‑depth understanding and professional verbal level of the English language is a must.
• Ability to guide, support, and mentor colleagues when needed.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
