We’re on the lookout for Temp Reliever (Woodyard Lab) – FTC to assist Woodyard Lab in reducing overtime by providing leave/training relief.

As a Temp Reliever (Woodyard Lab) – FTC you will be responsible for:

• Take and hand over shift, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
• Operate process equipment and instruments in accordance with best operating practices.
• Complete section‑specific interventions and initiatives as planned.
• Inspect chemical, newsprint, and hardwood loads to ensure compliance with specifications. Prepare warnings or rejection notices and deny mill access to non‑conforming or unsafe loads.
• Record timber receipts, load BOC, and perform quality checks on delivery notes.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure understanding and compliance with mill safety standards.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks in line with SHEQ requirements.
• Receive chip samples from Woodyard Shift Superintendent at start and mid‑shift; check sample integrity.
• Sample and analyse ground wood peeled log.
• Evaluate result quality and take corrective action before reporting to customers.
