About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and reliable Telecommunications Network Technician to support their operations in Queenstown . This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure, including cabling, network equipment, and associated systems. You will work on-site, ensuring the quality and functionality of the network services provided to customers. The successful candidate will be technically proficient, safety-conscious, and dedicated to providing essential connectivity solutions within the telecoms sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and modems.
• Perform site surveys and prepare for installations of new equipment and services.
• Troubleshoot and repair network faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Manage and organize tools, equipment, and inventory required for field operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures while working in the field.
• Provide technical support to customers on-site regarding their network services.

Requirements
