Tieto Tech Consulting seeks a Technical SAP Consultant to deliver state-of-the-art SAP solutions, advise on architecture and SAP BTP/BAIP integration, and explore AI-enabled SAP capabilities. You will collaborate with customers and consultants to translate business challenges into feasible concepts and prototypes, ensuring responsible AI and secure integration.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional SAP experience in a technical role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP application development (ABAP, Fiori, web tech).
• Experience with cloud services and modern architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP/BAIP and SAP Build.
• Hands-on with SAP AI capabilities (Joule Studio, AI Core/Foundation, or generative AI on SAP BTP).
• Experience with Joule & MS Copilot integration is a plus.
• Ability to assess AI use cases, build prototypes and securely integrate AI into SAP apps.
• Solid understanding of responsible AI, data protection, security and governance.
• Ability to structure, prioritize and organize requirements; consulting mindset.
• Comfortable discussing in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate SAP AI use cases with customers and translate challenges into concepts.

• Build understanding of customer business, anticipate needs and propose alternatives.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Technical SAP Consultant, you

• collaborate with customer and functional Consultants to deliver complex and state-of-the-art SAP solutions
• advise our customers on the architecture and integration of SAP Business AI Platform (BAIP) including SAP BTP capabilities into existing IT landscapes
• identify and evaluate SAP AI use cases together with customers, translating business challenges into feasible solution concepts
• design and implement AI-enabled SAP solutions using SAP Business AI capabilities, including Joule, AI Foundation and generative AI services on SAP BTP
• develop prototypes and proof of concepts, integrate AI services responsibly into SAP processes and support their transition into scalable productive solutions
• build the understanding of customer business, anticipate customer needs and discover alternative solutions that are relevant for our customer’s success

Who we are looking for

• at least 4 years of professional experience in the SAP environment, preferably in a technical role
• good knowledge in SAP application development (e.g. ABAP, Fiori, web technologies)
• experience with cloud services and modern architecture concepts
• know-how of SAP BTP/BAIP and SAP Build
• practical experience with SAP AI capabilities such as Joule Studio, SAP AI Core & AI Foundation or generative AI services on SAP BTP. Experience with Joule & MS Copilot integration is a plus.
• the ability to assess AI use cases, build prototypes and integrate AI services securely into SAP applications and business processes
• a sound understanding of responsible AI, data protection, security and governance requirements in enterprise environments
• ability to structure, prioritize and organize requirements

The monthly gross salary for this full-time position starts at € 3.954,00 in accordance with the Austrian IT collective agreement (ST1 Regelstufe). The final package will reflect your qualifications, relevant experience and current market standards.

Locations: Vienna, Linz, Graz, Regensburg, Berlin; Hybrid working is available; travel requirements depend on the customer and opportunity phase.
