Overview:

Integrated Business and Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US-based international development consulting company, is seeking a TA Consultant. This position will be assisting with full life-cycle recruitment.

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage an extensive pool of candidates by leveraging an internal roster and, where required, expanding talent pools through targeted sourcing from external platforms.
  • Establish and maintain specialized talent pools for hard-to-fill profiles, including artificial intelligence, green technologies, sustainable development, gender equality, and public sector reform.
  • Produce summary reports on the expert roster/database, clearly presenting the number of candidates by technical domain and a breakdown by seniority level (e.g., mid-level, senior, expert).
  • Assist for multiple recruitments for proposals and current projects. Provide timely and effective recruitment solutions by effectively liaising with the hiring manager to develop job descriptions and to ensure full understanding of their requirements, preferences, and timeframes.
  • Conduct initial screens and follow standardized processes to screen and select the best candidates, ensuring compliance with all governmental and IBTCI employment specifications.
  • Brief the hiring manager on shortlists with relevant documents and arrange for interviews of prospective candidates with them.
  • Any other job duties as assigned.

At least 6 months of work experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot or other research and summarization platforms) for research, data analysis, and content drafting.
  • High attention to detail with strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration systems (e.g., SharePoint, Google Workspace).
  • Strong writing, research, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) required; fluency in another language preferred. Oral and written fluency in English required, fluency in another language preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Concentration in International Development, International Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Strong multi-tasking capabilities.

In-depth proposal management skills strongly preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs, International Development, Economics, Business Administration, English or related field.

Physical Requirements:

This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

This position does not supervisory responsibilities.
