Qualifikationen

About the Role

Within this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable operations of quarries in the North West business unit ensuring that regulatory and Company requirements are attained.

  • Overall campaign project management and achievement of the project goals
  • Planning of all project activities & monitoring project progress (time, cost, quality)
  • Planning and responsibility for fleet (company and contracted)
  • Managing contractors and employees onsite
  • Managing project safety, health & environmental programs
  • Reporting on project progress & documentation
  • Providing Sales support to internal and external customers
Background and Experience required
  • Tertiary qualification held in engineering or mining, highly regarded
  • Qualifications in HSEQ or Project Management also highlight regarded
  • Quarrying experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • At least 5 years practical experience in supervising a team or contractor/s, with at least 2 years in direct supervision role
  • Experience working in remote locations and/or operating unsupervised
  • Able to quickly and easily identify areas for improvement
  • Excellent verbal communication skills across all levels of the work force
  • Able to influence people across all levels of the work force and contractors
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Efficiency - strong time management skills
