About the role

As a Supervisor within the firm’s Business Advisory division, you will collaborate closely with Accountants, Managers and Directors to deliver quality accounting, tax and business advice to clients. Working with a collaborative team, you will be responsible for the completion of client work, as well as providing daily team supervision across a range of tax, accounting, compliance and advisory services. You will provide both internal and external stakeholders with exceptional service, ensuring all work prepared by you and the team is accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

Your key responsibilities will include, however aren’t limited to:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns, and compliance obligations for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
  • Supporting the development of tailored business strategies, forecasts, and cash flow reports to meet client objectives
  • Managing client relationships, responding to technical queries, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across engagements
  • Supervising and reviewing work completed by junior team members, providing mentorship and technical guidance
  • Collaborating with internal divisions, including Superannuation and Tax, to deliver integrated advisory solutions
  • Contributing to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional services and supporting client growth
About you

The successful candidate will be both a tertiary-qualified and CA or CPA qualified accountant, with a strong background in providing taxation, business advisory and compliance services. You will have experience working with clients across a range of industries and entity structures, including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals. You will demonstrate confidence in reviewing the work of junior team members and providing mentorship to support their development and growth. Demonstrating a sound understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax regulations, along with the ability to manage client relationships, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate and timely advice will be essential.

Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite, is required. You will be detail‑oriented, solutions‑focused, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. A collaborative mindset, commitment to service quality, and a desire to contribute to a high‑performing team will be key to your success in this role.
