Job summary

Magna International Limited, through Cosma International, seeks a production engineering specialist to optimize assembly line processes and drive continuous improvement across advanced automotive manufacturing lines. You will work with cross-functional teams, apply Lean and Six Sigma, and ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards while leveraging CAD tools to support tooling and automation.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• Several years of experience in automotive assembly, manufacturing, or production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of assembly processes, tools, and automation technologies.
• Ability to analyze issues, implement solutions, and drive process improvements.
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and guide teams in technical matters.
• Familiarity with CAD software and understanding of automotive production standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, improve, and standardize assembly line processes to boost efficiency.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and internal quality requirements.
• Assist production teams in troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization – Analyze, improve, and standardize assembly line processes to enhance efficiency and productivity

• Tooling & Equipment Management – Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of assembly tools and machinery

Who we are looking for:
