NXP Semiconductors in Austria is seeking a student for a part-time position in the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) System Applications team, based near Gratkorn/Graz. You will support developing and optimizing the HMI test bench using 6-axis and 3-axis robots while pursuing your studies.

The role requires ongoing technical studies, knowledge of Cobots, path planning, 3D design, LabVIEW, and Python, with 20h per week availability.

Qualifikationen

Ongoing studies in a technical field such as engineering or computer science.
Knowledge of working with Cobots and collaborative robotics.
Understanding of path planning and precise movements.
Experience with 3D design and 3D printing.
LabVIEW programming experience.
Basic Python knowledge.
Embedded microcontroller knowledge is a plus.
Good English skills (spoken and written).
Valid work authorization required.

Aufgaben

Optimize robot movements for accuracy and execution time.
Extend the LabVIEW framework with requested features.
Assist with 3D design for small fixtures.
Solder SMD components.
Work in a lab environment with instruments and assist measurements tasks.
