Lam Research is seeking a Facilities Engineer in Austria to plan and oversee facility changes for plant, tool installations, and production layouts. You will coordinate with architectural/engineering teams, prepare contracts, and ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.

The role blends strategic responsibility with hands-on tasks, including maintenance strategy planning, minor repairs, fleet management, and supporting service activities. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in maintenance planning, coordination, and implementation.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Certified Property Manager preferred.
• Electrical engineering background desirable.

Aufgaben

• Plan facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts.
• Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms to develop design criteria and layouts.
• Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities.
• Estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials.
• Inspect construction and installation for conformance to drawings and schedules.
• Develop criteria and performance specs to meet operating requirements and codes.
• Plan and implement maintenance strategies and assist with fleet management.
