A presence of at least 3 working days per week is required. **Position Overview:**In this position, you will develop next-generation ML and AI applications that enhance, automate, and accelerate geometric engineering workflows across Magna. The core focus is researching and applying state-of-the-art AI techniques for geometry understanding to improve CAD-based engineering processes.You will investigate LLM-assisted geometry reasoning, knowledge graphs, and multimodal approaches that combine text, geometry, and simulation data, complemented by geometry embeddings and deep learning methods for meshes and graphs where appropriate. These methods will transform CAD geometry into structured representations for downstream tasks such as automated design checks, manufacturability reasoning, variant comparison, tolerance analysis, intelligent parameter recommendations, and automated documentation.Working closely with internal customers, R&D teams, CAD experts, and external research partners, you will translate engineering needs into AI solution concepts and prototype, validate, and refine them for integration into existing engineering workflows.
