Job summary

Magna is seeking a Senior Buyer to drive sourcing and procurement for platform projects and assigned product areas. You will manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, support RFQs, and act as the main purchasing interface throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in automotive electronics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and cost analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ processes including supplier inquiries, quote evaluation, and cost analysis.
• Support customer RFQs with purchasing expertise and early project phase inputs.
• Act as purchasing interface for platform projects and cross-functional teams.
• Drive sourcing activities and supplier selection and award decisions.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Negotiate terms and contribute to competitive material costs.

For this position, the minimum gross annual salary under the collective agreement for the Austrian automotive industry is € 80,000 (all-in).
