NGR Talent Search in Vienna, Austria, is seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer / DBA for a long-term international IT project. The role requires hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL development, performance tuning and database administration.

You will develop and optimise queries, analyse execution plans, implement indexing strategies, and manage ETL processes, backups, security and maintenance on-site in Vienna. International relocation is welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures and query optimisation.
• Hands-on experience in SQL Server database administration and performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server Profiler or Extended Events.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and database maintenance.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Microsoft TFS is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Willingness to work 100% on-site in Vienna, Austria.

We are currently recruiting an experienced SQL Server Developer / Database Administrator (DBA) for a long-term international IT project based in Vienna, Austria.

We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL development, database performance optimisation and database administration.
