Position Overview

As a Software Engineering Intern you will be part of the Denuvos development team based in Salzburg, Austria. You will learn from experienced engineers while contributing to the development and operation of cloud applications and services for Denuvos Anti‑Piracy and Anti‑Cheat solutions used by some of the world’s largest gaming publishers.

This internship will expose you to technologies such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Python, Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudFormation, etc.), GitLab and Linux.

Your mission at Irdeto

Support the development and operation of cloud‑based (AWS) applications using Java Spring and modern web frameworks (e.g., Angular).

Collaborate with engineers on implementing new features and improving existing products.

Contribute to the design and testing of online services with a focus on performance, availability and reliability.

Write clean, testable and maintainable code under the guidance of senior team members.

Learn agile development practices and participate in team ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups and sprint reviews.

How you can add value to the team

You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

You have some experience or coursework in Java programming and object‑oriented development.

Familiarity with Spring, PostgreSQL or Angular is a plus.

Interest in cloud technologies (AWS) and web frameworks is advantageous.

You bring curiosity, analytical thinking and a passion for learning and problem‑solving.

You are able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
