Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbare IT-Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als Software Engineer/Architekt oder DevOps-Berater
• Erfahrung in regulierten Umgebungen (KRITIS) wünschenswert
• Fundierte Linux-Administration (Red Hat/SUSE/CentOS)

Responsibilities

If you want to actively shape and architecturally define demanding, secure, and highly available software solutions in regulated environments (e.g., in the energy and critical infrastructure/KRITIS sector), beON is the right place for you. As a Software Engineer & Architect, you will accompany our clients from requirements engineering and cloud-native development to the establishment of modern DevSecOps processes and strategic IT consulting.

Software Engineering: Design and develop robust, cloud-native applications based on modular microservice and event-driven architectures (e.g. using Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, Python, Go, or Node.js, and Apache Kafka)

Software Architecture: Design scalable, maintainable, and compliant IT architectures based on the C4 model, and create reference architectures and integration concepts while considering KRITIS, NIS2, and IT Security Act guidelines • Cloud & Container: Containerize and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or Rancher in hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible (both are a must-have), and establish GitOps-based operating models

CI/CD & Security by Design: Build automated build and deployment pipelines with integrated security gates (SAST, DAST, code scanning) and implement Zero Trust and Identity Management solutions (Keycloak, Entra ID)

Quality Engineering: Ensure highest code quality through automated unit, integration, and performance tests (JUnit, PyTest, Playwright, K6) and continuous quality metrics (SonarQube)

Observability: Implement modern monitoring and analysis concepts using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki

Solution Consultancy: Provide technical and business consulting to our clients on technology selection (frameworks, cloud services, TCO analysis) and support agile development teams

Qualifications

Degree with a technical focus (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering) or a comparable IT qualification

Several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Architect, DevOps Consultant, or in a comparable technical role

Experience working in enterprise-level environments, industrial sectors, or ideally within the regulated energy sector (KRITIS)

Strong Linux / infrastructure administration skills, ideally with Red Hat, SUSE, or CentOS

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or Rancher Kubernetes Platform

Experience with at least one hyperscaler: Azure, AWS, or GCP, including practical project experience in deployments and architecture

Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Ansible (both are mandatory)

Experience with CI/CD, automation, and GitOps, e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD

DevOps / SRE mindset and experience with Git, artifact management (Nexus, JFrog, or Harbor), code scanning, and pipeline management

Experience with modern programming languages (Java, Kotlin, C#, Python, Go, or TypeScript) and modern software architecture concepts

Relevant certifications (e.g. CKAD, Microsoft DevOps Engineer, Cloud Developer, ISTQB, SAFe, OWASP) are a strong plus

Business fluent German (C1) and English (C1), both written and spoken
