Job summary

Catalyst Operations & Analytics seeks Senior Software Developers to lead design, development, and delivery of complex full-stack solutions. You will translate requirements into scalable back-end services and intuitive front-end interfaces within Agile teams.

The role emphasizes mentorship of junior and mid‑level developers, strong emphasis on performance, security, and reliability, and the ability to present technical solutions to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7–11 years of software development experience; Master's degree and 5–9 years also acceptable.
• Proficient in one or more modern languages: Java, JavaScript, Python across full stack.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Cloud platforms and containerization/orchestration: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and ceremonies.
• Experience with version control and configuration management tools.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Able to translate customer/system requirements into technical design.
• Strong communication and technical writing; present to customers.
• Senior positions review and guide the work of Junior and Mid-Level developers.

Position Summary

Senior Software Developers lead the design, development, and delivery of complex, full-stack application solutions in support of the customer's requirements. Senior Software Developers translate customer and system requirements into technical design, build and maintain scalable back-end services and front-end interfaces, and operate within Agile development teams. Senior Software Developers apply sound engineering judgment to resolve difficult technical problems, evaluate design trade-offs across the stack, and help ensure delivered applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards. Senior Software Developers are expected to review the work of less experienced developers and provide technical mentorship.

US Citizenship and TS/SCI with Polygraph (no exceptions)

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 7-11 years of relevant professional software development experience (Master's degree and 5-9 years also acceptable); additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
